First day in February

Pagi hujan dengan sebesarnya, basah menyelimuti Jakarta dengan perpaduan antara kekokohan dan kerapuhan.. aku beranjak dari tidur, membuka mata menyingkap selimut hingga tinggal dingin menusuk diri, kusegarkan pagi ini walau sudah cukup dinginya udara pagi ini.. berjalan, mengendarai motor menebas hujan.. menyingkap tetesan hujan yang menyapu wajah dan kubelah jalan becek bergenangan air..
br..br..br... dingin merasuki sukma tapi kutahan.. harus sampai di tujuan tepat waktunya, tak perlu mampir singgah dan tergoda akan hangatnya tempat berteduh pinggir jalan itu.. biar semua berlalu pikirku.. aku memacu tak kencang tak pula perlahan dengan kehati-hatian tanpa ketrgesaan..

finally, 8.02 sampailah diri di pelataran gedung yang tiap hari kutuju.. bergegas ke depan menuju mesin penanda kehadiranku setelah motorku kutempatkan di tempat hangat dengan atap.. 8.04 klik, zarifa, elva menandakan hadirku.. dan ku bergegas menaiki anak tangga menuju ruangan nyaman, dingin walau penuh kehangatan karena ramahnya suasana..

dan ipon pun berbunyi, mungkin rekan sekerjaku. yup, she just wants to inform me bout some accident happens to another friend. just now, rekanku merasakan keterkejutan saat ia sedang berboncengan di tengah jalan menyibak hujan, ia tertimpa tumbangan pohon yang tepat menindihnya.. untung tak apa, hanya pusing sangat yang terasa..

dan aku bersyukur kepadaNya, bahwa di tengah lebatnya hujan yang menjadi nikmat bagi umat, di tengah tiupan angin lebat aku tak apa.. aku bersyukur sekali atas nikmat yang Ia berikan di pagi hari di awal bulan february....
